John Lennon - Hundreds of letters to be published.

Personal letters written by John Lennon are to be published after widow Yoko One sold the rights for a reported £500,000.

Publishing house Orion Books will release the letters in book form in October 2012 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' first hit, Love Me Do.

The collection of over 150 letters includes notes Lennon wrote to record companies and newspapers and a letter to an eight-year-old boy. A fierce bidding war erupted between publishing houses when the scale of the collection became clear.

"These letters have never been collected in one place before, and for the most part they have never been seen before," Alan Samson of Orion Books explained. "The other reason people have gone crazy for it is the fact that there are half a dozen icons of the 20th century – Marilyn Monroe, Kennedy, Elvis – and Lennon is one of them.

“They are full of wonderful drawings,” Samson added. “They are funny, sad ... they are very human letters."

The Beatles legend was a prolific author beyond songwriting – while he was alive he had two works of fiction published and wrote several stories for Merseybeat newspaper.

Moncler Tibet

I wish Moncler would sell their goods online. There is a few (that I can find) online sellers of Moncler but the problem is they never have what I'm looking for or if they do it's sold out. I know some people would say it's all about exclusivity but with the amount of fakes floating about online it makes sense if you ask me.

Anyway I'm hoping to get one of these (Moncler Tibet Down Vest in black) at some point both God and job willing !! If anyone can point me in a good online retailer let me know.... or even better if you want to gift it to me...... lol

I'm over the cold and the winter already, roll on the summer !!

me @ summer 2010 lol

Congrats to Kanye on going platinum with MBDTF

Steve Jobs takes medical leave of absence. Get well soon !!!

Apple supremo Steve Jobs has announced that he is taking a medical leave of absence, casting doubt over his future at the company.

Jobs, who overcame pancreatic cancer in 2004, told staff in an email that he was stepping aside so that "I can focus on my health."

The announcement was made during a non-trading day on the US market, but the shares fell 9% in trade on European markets overnight. His temporary 2004 departure caused a 10% dip in Apple's share price.

Forget the company, the shares, the money as someones HEALTH is THEIR WEALTH

It’s the Monogram Denim for men. The gorgeous Monogram Impression is crafted out of a denim fabric which underwent a special weaving technique giving it a vintage, worn out look. Also, the fabric was went through a waterproofing treatment – though not completely waterproof – would be a nice feature to these fabric bags.

P.S.A. - WARNING GRAPHIC PICTURE BELOW

So in short the tonsillectomy went well. It's a very quick procedure which thankfully I was put under for (standard). I was admitted to hospital on the 11/01/11 and got out on the 13/11/11. I'm on a heavy course/routine of pain killers and antibiotics which make the pain bearable but the only downside is when they wear off. When they do.... SHEER AGONY.

Anyway there is roughly a 14 day recoup time and in the long run the whole procedure is for the best. Thank God my only real medical complaint over the years was the one throat infection after another. So this should once and for all put an end to it. I want to spend 2011 a lot healthier than 2010 and previous years.

Starbucks just unveiled a new logo to commemorate its 40th anniversary

P.S.A - T-Day

So a very brief P.S.A.

Tomorrow I'm due to go in for a tonsillectomy. I hoping it actually goes ahead as I've had a bit of a nightmare last two weeks with a bug of some sort that involved a sore throat, initial temperature, lack of energy and a dry cough. A few co-workers had the same so it seems to be a winter bug. The cough is still very slightly hanging around so I'm unsure if they'll do it.

I've suffered (martyr me !!!) for years with my throat. From a slight sore throat to tonsillitis and strep throat. Sometimes as often as 5-6 a year. In the last 6 months alone I've had 5...... So the time has come and after waiting 6 months tomorrow is D Day, or T Day in this case.

Like all surgeries there is risks that go with it, so fingers crossed everything goes ok and the big man looks after me. I think the 2-3 weeks recovery period is going to be enough of a pain as it is.

If it goes ahead, this is happening to me tomorrow...... :-S Enjoy the vid and I'll post soon, I hope.
