See below for what turned out to be a good old laugh/heated but for the fun of it conversation.
My over all point is SO WHAT if some x-factor crap song gets to number one. I won't be listening to it, no one is forcing anyone to listen to it or buy it so what exactly is the issue. From what you'll see below and the points I raised is it's people trying to be way too cool for school with the whole "Rage Against the Machine for No.1" campaign. Basically cheating their way to get a result. Buy no more than 2 copies and all this. The so called "down with it" people who listen to "real music" are in fact the ones who are acting like a bunch of bitches in my opinion. Where are the "real music" listeners all the other weeks of the year when other crap gets to number 1 ??? It doesn't say much when the people that are going out buying the crap x-factor song are just buying it normally. Not starting a big agenda to get it to number one....
Either way I'd love if neither song gets to number one though I'm sure one or the other will leaning more towards R.A.T.M. At the end of the day the big point they are trying to make is lost because it's a fabricated number one. Be it the fabricated x-factor song or the fabricated R.A.T.M agenda...
Brant Clarke BLEH and I mean BLEH to the "Rage Against the Machine" for the Christmas No.1 group. The real bang of trying to be too cool for school, down with the corporate machine vibe of it. Trying to "not conform" with the masses but yet doing it in the most conforming way... ON FACEBOOK. Go to your theology class in Trinity and shut up. Meh, MEH IT TO HELL !
